Lymm Youth & Community Association is a local registered charity (number: 520076) set up to operate and safeguard the Lymm Youth & Community Centre for the people of Lymm.
There have been a lot of rumours about the future of the building. People have feared the building could close or be demolished. At present there are no plans to close the centre.
There have been concerns for the condition of the building, but a recent survey has confirmed the building is structurally sound and a number of renovation projects have taken place to improve the facilities. These projects include decoration, improved electrics, improved fire safety, new toilets, new windows, new kitchen, disabled facilities and more. Many of these projects have already been completed by a group of volunteers and the building is fit and ready for use.

Lymm Youth & Community Association is campaigning to secure the future of the building. We hope that with the support of Lymm Parish Council and the wider community, we will be successful in securing a Community Asset Transfer from Warrington Borough Council to the committee.
There are currently a number of groups and people running a wide range of activities including tennis, fitness sessions, craft fairs, slimming clubs and more. Local schools and organisations are also using the centre for regular activities or special events.
